Gardening goes online

December had us green-fingered as we were delighted to make ready for the new year two garden nursery websites. The Otter Nursery in Ottershaw (www.theotternursery.com) and Sempervirens Nursery in Twickenham (www.sempervirens.co.uk) required websites which outlined the plants and shrubs available at their impressive garden centres and also allowed the purchase of landscaping supplies (think quality topsoil and mulch) securely online. Perfect for fair-weather gardeners who want to stock up in time for the spring and equally essential for those braving the cold (brr) for some essential garden maintenance, we hope you'll welcome the new year by browsing their offerings for your own plot.

Exciting artist commissions new website

Jackie Stonehouse asked Pure Azure to create a website which reflected her style and displayed her bold and striking artworks as a taster for art-lovers worldwide. With a refreshingly visual blog and regularly updated news of upcoming events, it showcases the Yorkshire-based artist’s mixed media in a lively and we think inviting way, showing that art can and should be accessible to all. Have a look at  www.jackiestonehouse.co.uk.

Sumptuous signage for Leamington Spa

Lucky chocolate lovers in Leamington Spa can now pop into the new Sweet As shop. Pure Azure designed the shop’s graphic which we think should tempt customers in to taste the heavenly delights (including some moreish new brownie flavours) and warm up with a reviving coffee or tea in the cafe.

Debt advice made approachable

Cunningham Green Credit Solutions asked for a clear website which reflected their straightforward approach to debt-free advice. The site includes key information and is an approachable way to address what can at times be a daunting issue with an easy to navigate website at www.cunninghamgreen.co.uk.

EACH and Swains in print

Print is alive and kicking! Swains and EACH teamed up to offer businesses a phone deal which could give money to this hardworking East Anglian children’s charity while paying a reduced tariff for line rental and calls, so we produced a leaflet to help spread the word. We wanted it to be in keeping with both company’s branding, being bold, bright and appealing to all but with a serious message. Responsible practice was extended by being printed on 100% recycled paper and feedback was very positive and promising for take-up in 2010.

If chocolate's your thing ...

... then look no further than our most recent launch, a refreshed website for Frances Crute Chocolatier.

Specialising in refined chocolates (all handmade in Warwickshire), it's a veritable feast for the eyes which makes the most of the company's brand and unique products (just look at the virtual chocolate box and tell us your mouth's not watering). And as we're all encouraged to eat seasonally, get prepared for Valentine's Day, Christmas or quite frankly any time when you need chocolates that look and taste divine.

It may not be veg, but you can always get your dose of carrots along with your delectable truffles when you visit Stratford-Upon-Avon's regular Farmers' Market, at which Frances Crute regularly appears. (Do raspberry truffles count as one of 'five a day'?)
